A workplace culture that fosters wellness and work-life balance deeply impacts employee engagement, retention and productivity.
“Yoga is the oldest known discipline system in the world that helps cope with stress. It’s one of the oldest methods of personal development that fully trains the body, mind and spirit and allows one to know oneself. Yoga consists of breathing exercises, asanas, relaxation, and meditation exercises.
Studies have shown that Yoga reduces stress, anxiety and depression and is effective on individuals’ burnout and job dissatisfaction.”
PROGRAMME OVERVIEW:
The programme is delivered through live online and in-person sessions, on-demand video libraries, masterclasses and business resources which focus on Himalayan Hatha Yoga, Restorative Workshops, Atma Kriya Meditation and high performance.
Himalayan Hatha Yoga helps develop strength, flexibility, Self-awareness, stamina, creativity, connection, acceptance, and simplicity. It's a strong yet supportive form of Yoga designed with a focus on specific sequencing, alignment, breath, and locks (bandhas) for optimum safety, health and benefits of the postures.
Himalayan Hatha Yoga also include Restorative Yoga. With its focus on a limited number of asanas, done either seated, lying on the back or lying on the stomach, Restorative Yoga lessens the strain on the nervous system, calming scattered thoughts, and leaving the mind focused and serene while restoring and revitalising the body.
These techniques help with handling oncoming stress and deadlines from a calm and centred place.
Atma Kriya Meditation teaches us how to still the body, breath and mind so that we can step back from our busy lives and objectively observe, unveiling reality layer by layer, going deeper, journeying right down into the centre of self, feeling a connection to ourselves, to others and a source greater than us. It gives us a feeling of space and detachment that makes daily living less intense and stressful. Learning to meditate gives a clear perspective on long-term goals and decision-making.
Our business resources provide the tools to develop high-performance habits and balance as the key.
From a centred place of alertness and self-awareness, it's easier to find motivation, to see one own individual purpose and how this aligns with the company's purpose and values.
It's a win-win situation where employees become highly effective and have a chance to fulfil their highest potential, and the employer enhances its position as the best place to work while improving the attraction and retention of top talents.
